Are you tired of studying for end of semester tests? Has your research paper driven you to the point of insanity? If so, take tonight off and head over to hear Lynam perform at Rockin’ Rodeo. Lynam is just the band to take away your end of semester stress. This Birmingham, Ala., rock trio has delivered its straight ahead rock and roll performances throughout the Southeast.
Members Jacob Lynam (vocals and guitar), David Lynam (drums and vocals) and Mark Lynam (bass and vocals) combine a sound that can be described as Weezer meets Foo Fighters. Lynam has toured with acts like Maylene and The Sons of Disaster, Hinder, Saliva, Poison, Cinderella and Puddle of Mudd. They’ve even played at Vans Warped Tour!
Lynam has played Rick’s several times before. “We used to play at Rick’s once a month a few years ago,” Jacob said. “We have always liked playing Valdosta. There’s this Chinese restaurant we used to go and eat at before each show. It’s kind of a tradition.”
Lynam will be performing songs from its first DRT Entertainment (Lit, Clutch) release “Slave to the Machine.” They will be playing new singles like “By Your Side” and “Tanis.”
You can also expect Lynam to play songs like “The Party Starts Now” from their previously released independent albums. “The Party Stars Now” was even featured in 20th Century Fox’s “Catch That Kid”.
So if you want to see a great rock performance put down your homework and head over to Rockin’ Rodeo. The show starts at 10 p.m. and Lynam is set to play at 10:30 p.m.
