The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will take place this Sunday, Feb. 10. The awards, which take place in Los Angeles will include performances by Fergie, John Legend, Beyonce, Foo Fighters, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and many more.

These are my personal predictions for the Grammy Awards:

Album of the Year
Nominees: “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace,” Foo Fighters; “These Days,” Vince Gill; “River: The Joni Letters,” Herbie Hancock; “Graduation,” Kanye West; “Back to Black,” Amy Winehouse.
Who should win: “Graduation,” Kanye West – The album was one of the best sellers of the year, showing the popularity of it. People wouldn’t buy crap, would they? He’s been snubbed enough by the
award shows… let the boy win.
Who will win: “River: The Joni Letters,” Herbie Hancock – Hey, I share the Hancock love (look at my last name), but the Grammy’s always give the biggest award to the artist that makes everybody think,
“What the heck?!?”

Record of the Year
Nominees: “Irreplaceable,” Beyonce; “The Pretender,” Foo Fighters; “Umbrella,” Rihanna featuring Jay-Z; “What Goes Around … Comes Around,” Justin Timberlake; “Rehab,” Amy Winehouse.
Who should win: “Umbrella,” Rihanna freaturing Jay-Z. – Come on, everybody was adding “ella ella ella” when saying umbrella in a normal sentence this year.
Who will win: “What Goes Around… Comes Around,” – Just because the Grammy committee are still in the ‘N Sync phase.

Song of the Year
Nominees: “Before He Cheats,” songwriters Josh Kear & Chris Tompkins (performed by Carrie Underwood); “Hey There Delilah,” Tom Higgenson (Plain White T’s); “Like A Star,” Corinne Bailey Rae; “Rehab,” Amy Winehouse; “Umbrella,” Shawn Carter, Kuk Harrell, Terius “Dream” Nash & Christopher Stewart (Rihanna featuring Jay-Z).
Who should win: “Hey There Delilah,” Plain White T’s – Come on, they put a unique name in a unique song.
Who will win: “Rehab,” Amy Winehouse – The Grammy’s need the controversy of Winehouse winning a songwriting award for this song because otherwise, the show will probably put everybody to sleep.

Best New Artist
Nominees: Feist, Ledisi, Paramore, Taylor Swift, Amy Winehouse.
Who should win: Taylor Swift – On top of having the best selling album by a new female artist in country music, she’s popular with the pop music crowd too. Plus, she’s a chick with a guitar and that rocks.
Who will win: – Taylor Swift. Yes, I’m bias. Shut up. She’s young, talented and extremely nice to her fans – I met her.
