Ah, young love is in the air. Miley Cyrus stepped out to church with her family this past Sunday with a new accessory – an underwear model / country singer.
Former “Nashville Star” contestant and the star of Taylor Swift’s new video, “Love Story,” is named Justin Gaston and apparently met the family when Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray, hosted the talent show. Did we mention that the boy is 20? Yeah, Miley doesn’t turn 16 until November.
Speaking of birthdays, Britney Spears will be giving her fans something in return on her birthday in December. Next week brings Spears’ new single, “Womanizer,” from her new album, rumored to be called “Circus.”
The album is due in stores on Dec. 2, Spears’ 27th birthday.
However, a blogger, Elizabeth Snead, that works for the Los Angeles Times is questioning whether Britney is ready for a comeback. Seriously, look at her appearance last year on the VMAs and then look at this year. She’s ready.
Strip off your pants, get your sunglasses and slide into your living room because “Risky Business,” the Tom Cruise classic, released its 25th anniversary DVD edition Wednesday. There’s nothing like some Bob Seger, a cute guy in his tighty-whities and a good movie.
On the television side of things, don’t look for Luke Perry to revise his role as Dylan McKay on “90210” anytime soon. Sure, it was revealed Tuesday night that he is the father to Kelly Taylor’s son, but Perry has scored a role on CBS’ “Criminal Minds.” His first show airs Oct. 8.
It may be time to dress in black and pretend you’re emo, at least if you’re in the age group that watched “TRL” on MTV when it was actually good.
“TRL”, which is in its 10th year on the air, will film its last show in November. The show hasn’t been good since Carson Daly left and Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync ruled the show.
For you VH1 Celeb-reality lovers, get ready for a new lineup of shows for the Fall a season starting with “Charm School: ‘Rock of Love’ Girls.” Everybody’s favorite girls are coming back including Heather, Lacey, Rodeo, Brandi C., Megan, Jessica, Dallas, Angelique and Kristy Joe are just a few of the girls who will be tamed by Headmistress Sharon Osborne starting Oct. 12.
Along with the new “Charm School,” be on the lookout for “Real Chance of Love,” with everybody’s favorite brothers, Chance and Real, from “I Love New York” and “I Love Money.” They are out to find their true loves just like every other cheesy reality dating show out there.
