VSU continues to re-construct its campus, this time with the demolishing of the north wing of Converse Hall. A Psychology and Counseling Building is planned to take its place. Two VSU members died

VSU Associate Professor of Art, Danielle B. Harmon, died the morning of August 17th. She had been battling with melanoma cancer. 13.3 percent cut from 2010 budget
