Members of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority began the Sidewalk Chalk Competition early on Monday night to have its movie reel piece finished by 2 p.m. on the following day. Alpha Sigma Alpha teamed up with Alpha Kappa Alpha and Phi Sigma Kappa sororities to complete the “Year of the Art” theme. The sprinklers in the lawn near them had came on and interrupted them as they were working on their drawing and caused a delay.
