City to host electronics recycling event

 Valdosta’s Public Works Department will host an Electronics Recycling Event at Mathis Auditorium on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.   The event, which began in 2006, is hosted by Keep Lowndes/Valdosta Beautiful and Atlanta Recycling Solutions.  To avoid electronics building up in the landfill, the community is working to dispose of electronic devices in a safe manner.  Most ...
