On Saturday, the Delta Chi fraternity will host the Sixth Annual Delta Chi Charity Winterball Softball Tournament at Freedom Park in hopes to raise money to help a Valdosta family overcome tragedy.
The proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to help the Lee family.

Student fees raised: Additional $100 due for Spring ’09 semester

VSU students will have to pay an additional $100 in fees starting in Spring 2009. The University System of Georgia (USG) has approved the additional two percent budget cuts, on top of an eight percent cut totaling around $136 million.

VSU fraternity under investigation

The national office of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity is currently investigating VSU’s Beta Tau chapter. As of now the national office has not taken any disciplinary action and will not release any more information until the investigation is complete.
