Woman struck by car outside of Centennial

Late Wednesday night a female student was struck by a moving vehicle outside of Centennial Hall.
The victim, whose identity is unknown at this time, was transported to South Georgia Medical Center. According to Cpl. Joshua Luke the extent of the victims injuries are unknown at this time.
“The bus was stopped at the bus stop, when the victim ran across the street,” Storm Richardson, VSU sophomore and a witness to the accident, said. “When she was running, the car drove around the bus and hit the victim and she flew about three feet across the parking lot.”
The driver of the vehicle, which was a white Trailblazer LX, had no comment about the accident.
It is undetermined if the driver will be charged at this time.
