Hello, World—Anthony here bringing you all the pop culture events from this past week that had us talking.

While the government was being shutting it down in D.C., and not in the good way, the rest of the world was waiting eagerly Tuesday night as the Princess of Pop Britney Spears dropped the video for her latest single, “Work Bitch.”

In the video Spears dances, slides, gyrates and slithers her way across the desert surrounded by an army of half-naked dancers. Complete with lots of product placement and a few signs advertising her Vegas residency, the video was pure Britney.

Fans quickly took to social media to voice how amazing Spears looked and their excitement about her forthcoming album. In true Spears fashion, Spears (or her manager, depending on who you believe) responded to lots of users by giving thanks and gratitude for her hard work.

Britney’s single, “Work Bitch,” debuted in the Top 20, and her new album comes out Dec. 3.

Moving on from Brit Brit to the always-fascinating Kardashians, a new promo for “Keeping up with the Kardashians” began airing this week. The promo teases that the episode will begin to answer some of the questions surrounding Khloe and Lamar’s rumored troubled addiction.

If you haven’t been keeping up, rumors started swirling over the summer that Lamar Odom had a crack cocaine addiction and it was tearing his marriage to Khloe apart.

While neither commented on the story, the blogs took it and ran. It didn’t help that the pair hadn’t been photographed together in months. When Lamar was photographed he looked frail and sickly looking.

A few blogs began speculating that the story was planted by none other than Kris Jenner to drum up ratings for the show! DRAMA!!! Now it looks as if we might have our answer.

The promo was vague, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the rumors were true and the whole thing was just a ploy for ratings. Khloe has been seen out with her wedding ring (and camera crews) for the last few days. We’ll just have to wait and see if she’s going to air her dirty laundry for the world to see.

Speaking of drama, one of the greatest TV shows in recent years came to an end on Sunday.

After six seasons, the award-winning show “Breaking Bad” came to an end Sunday night.

I’m not going to spoil the end of the show for you, but it did end with a bang.  The finale drew in an estimated 10.3 million viewers.

There have been talks of a spin-off, but it’s certain that television just won’t be the same without everyone’s favorite meth dealers, Walter and Jesse, on Sunday nights.
