The Lady Blazers’ season has not started out as many people would have liked. They currently stand with a 2-4 record (as of Wednesday afternoon) and are riding a three-game losing streak. However, there are some bright spots for the Lady Blazers.
One of those bright spots has been the play of freshman guard Alli Jones in the last two games. Jones scored just three points in the first four games; however, in the last two games Jones has seen her playing time increase as well as her point production.
Jones has scored 28 points in the last two Lady Blazers contests as she earned a start in the Lady Blazers contest against Georgia Southwestern. Jones is also becoming a threat rebounding the basketball, as she has recorded 10 rebounds in the last two games as well as dishing out five assists.
